Indigenous people keep their ancestral cultures and they constitute in this way the memory of humanity.
Many indigenous people have already disappeared, victims of their meeting with Western civilization, and others are today in the process of disappearance or acculturation.
Today they still have to face a lot of threats: medical problems, poverty, wars, massacres, destruction of their environment...
